Download (3397) | version 2.0 | compatible with : 3dsmax 8/9
Morphix reorders the vertices of one model to match the vertex order of another model. This obviously only works for models which share the exact same number of vertices, edges and faces. Also, the topology of both objects have to be the same.
Installation
The file contains rar files for both 3dsmax8 and 3dsmax9. Depending on the 3dsmax version you're using, extract either the max8 or max9 rar file in the root folder of 3dsmax and (re)start max. The script can then be assigned to a hotkey/toolbar/etc through the "Customize User Interface" dialog. The script is listed under the "MvH Tools" category.

Thanks! I keep getting an vertex out of range error. How do I fix this?
You are a King. I've been searching for a tool to renumber vertices for a LONG TIME. Thank you!
Hi! Great script! Do you plan to update it for new versions of Max?
Just dropped by to let you know that this script is indeed a life saver! Awesome job! It's a shame that in 3dsmax 2009 you can only add a single hint, tho! :(
Anyway, thanks a lot!
This is one of the most useful script I have ever seen, please try to keep it up to date.
2009 version
Unfortunately I don't have any time to work on the script at this moment, but I'll get back to it and make it 2009 compatible as soon as I can.
Thanks for your comments,
Martijn
support for max 2009
Hi, I love your script. It's the most useful piece of code I came across.
Will you release a version for 3ds max 2009? That would be so much appreciated.
Thank you for sharing your work and for letting the community benefit from your scripting talents.
i love u!
man, i love u!
next, please make a script which corrects topology and then a button "make my movie now" :)))
no seriously very handy script.
not work with 3ds max 2009 64 bit. Can you fix?
Thank'S
I have a problem.
I can't select element hint point if it warp by another element...(ex: upper teeth inside body)
can u change the UI so user can type element hint point by hand or there is another way to get the vertex ?

Hi, great script. I am user Giantsun on a zbrush community called zbrushcentral, if you post the link to this scrpt over there, you would be instant homecoming hero. Basicly cause zbrush can import and export multi level mesh information and a lot of people have trouble with keeping vertex order so they can re-import into a subdivision level back from 3dsmax, this would help their workflow. Great job and also love your 3d art.
vrey very handy script!
Does this work in max 2008? I cant seem to be able to select more than 1 vertex/edge/face for Hint...
I cant also "deselect" previous selected meshes as slave/master.
And the final result doesnt help fix topology in any way, the _morphix mesh that is created is always a exact copy of the master mesh (in terms of topology)..
Am I missing something?
Cemil,
I haven't been able to reproduce this error. Have you tried re-installing the script? Also, the error message seems to be incomplete. If the error still occurrs, could you check what it says after "at dotNetControl, expected" ... ?
Cheers,
Martijn
